BOOM Library SFX used in Catch & Release

BOOM Library is happy to announce that our friends at internationally renowned game services company METRICMINDS have used the BOOM Library for their first VR project called “Catch & Release”, a great meditative, relaxed virtual reality fishing game which has been released today on the Steam & Oculus stores.


Our friend Philip Weiss, CEO from METRICMINDS, is excited about this first release:

“As a first VR experience we set out to achieve maximum possible immersion, it was clear from the beginning that we could only achieve this by incorporating amazing sounds into the game. Luckily with BOOM Library, this was easy to achieve. We used some of the great sounds from their Quiet Planet Nature Sound Edition, The Complete Quiet Planet, recorded in binaural format and incredible recording quality. We are very glad to have such a professional and yet highly affordable tool at our disposal.” – Philip Weiss

 

Catch & Release is set to launch for the Steam & Oculus stores on the 7th of June 2018 with a PSVR version scheduled to be available in summer of 2018.

Improved workflow

We differentiate between sound FX and sound file. Each sound file can contain multiple variations of a sound (up to 6 variations based on the product).
That way, we assure to provide you with different styles of a single sound in one file instead of multiple files, keeping your database nice and clear and speeding up your workflow as you have multiple variations available by dragging only one file to your audio host software.
